Max loved the number 33. In honor of him on Veterans Day, we made $3,300 donations to the these four organizations.

Serving our at-risk and less fortunate children through faith based programs, food, clothing, anti-gang, anti-drug projects and training.

Proudly serving veterans and their families by providing quality equine services and outdoor experiences in a tranquil farm setting.
WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Supporting veterans and service members who served in the military on or after 9/11 and incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound during or after service.

We've established a fund with The Community Foundation as a charitable giving partner. The purpose of our fund is to provide grants to nonprofit organizations and IRS designated 501c3 public charities in Frederick County Maryland that support the mental health needs of veterans and their immediate family providing programming to address other imperative needs of veterans locally.
Veteran needs include affordable housing, transportation, jobs, health care, child care, housing, outdoor recreation and food security as determined by the most current humans needs assessments conducted by the Foundation.
EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
We have funded the $25,000 Maxwell Ronald Tyeryar Military scholarship endowment with East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where Max attended and graduated. This scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity to a student who is either active military or a veteran and preferably from Frederick County, MD.
aNNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
Our annual golf tournament raises awareness and donations for our charity mission bringing together family and friends to celebrate Max's life and legacy. This year's event was held on May 30, 2024 at PB Dye Golf Club in Ijamsville, MD. Our 2025 tournament will return to PB Dye on May 16. Please save the date.
afsp.org out of the darkness walk
We've participated in the Out of the Darkness walks supporting AFSP.ORG in September 2022 and 2023 in Germantown MD. Since January 2022, we've raised over $20,000 for AFSP.ORG and this year's walk at Baker Park in Frederick, Maryland raised another $2000.
NUTHIN FANCY CO. FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING THE FREDERICK RESCUE MISSION
Following our May 2025 golf tournament, Jackson Grove and NUTHIN FANCY CO. held an online fundraiser selling our new hats that he designed and produced for the tournament. Jackson was able to raise $3,200 in proceeds which Max Well For Life matched, donating a total of $6,400 to support the Rescue Mission's food drive.

MAX
We lost our beautiful son Maxwell Ronald Tyeryar to suicide on January 29, 2022.
Max had completed his degree in Criminal Justice at East Carolina University and in August 2021 fulfilled his 6 year commitment of military service to his country with the U.S. Army National Guard.
During his time with the National Guard, Max was deployed to Kuwait serving there for 9 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Max earned a Sergeant's ranking and received many service medals including the most distinguished Army Achievement Medal.
Max was a very kind and loving person uniquely humble with his many accomplishments throughout his young life.
Max cared deeply for others and had a gift to help everyone he knew feel better about themselves.
He always masked the true struggle that he was in. His positive attitude and sense of humor hid the real pain that was under his smile.
our PURPOSE
We are on a lifelong journey to survive losing Max to suicide. We honor his memory and legacy in the work we now do with Max Well For Life.
We're partnering with foundations dedicated to serving our veterans and community, providing help and preventing suicide through advocacy, research, education and support.
Our goal is to reach and help support those who struggle with their path in life along with the families and friends who have been impacted by the loss of a loved one through suicide.

He was just ahead of us all in this life and has now flown away.
